"Wonderful Microwave if You Buy Somewhere Else" Date: 1/18/2007
"This microwave has just about everything a medium to large family could ever want or need. The microwave is rated at 1000 watts, which is probably more than you are usually used to. If you never really paid attention before, the higher the microwaves wattage, the more powerful and usually faster cooking, but this also depends on the size of the microwave. Anywho, this microwave has a lot of power. It can cook popcorn in under two minutes, heat up pizza in around the same time. I have even cooked chicken breast in here just for the heck of it, and it came out wonderfully after about ten minutes! The exterior is beautiful, one of the nicest I have seen, which was really one of the selling points for me. The buttons are large and easy to read, and once you take a look over the instruction manual, you'll basically understand how to use it, not to difficult at all. There are many one push buttons for certain food types, like pizza, popcorn, and potatoes, as well as two automatic defrosting modes, one by weight and the other by time of course. The microwave is a little large if you are used to a compact, so keep that in mind, but it is worth it by a mile. The only problem with this microwave is that the store listed here on Amazon is selling it for about twice as much as it is in stores such as WalMart, where I got mine. So I would definitely recommend this microwave, but also recommend you purchase it somewhere else."

"Great microwave, don't buy from amazon unless you wanna get ripped off." Date: 12/15/2006
"I purchased this microwave from Walmart today for only $69.72, why amazon's price is so high is beyond me. I just cooked a hamburger in it, in 1 minute, in my old microwave it would have taken 5 minutes. The look is fantastic, and the functions and features are awesome!! Very great investment, but I would recommend buying from walmart and saving your money :)"

"A good microwave at a good price" Date: 12/4/2006
"I purchased this 1000 watt 1.1 Cu Ft. microwave from WalMart for just under $70. on 12/2/06 It's features 10 power levels, 8 preset cooking buttons for cooking normal things like popcorn, potatoes, etc. and also 5 programable memory buttons. It's got a child safe lockout feature in case you have little tykes, and of course a glass turntable inside. I was a bit worried the 1000 watts would trip the 15 amp circuit breaker in our basement, as this unit replaces my 700-800 watt smaller Panasonic microwave which was able to do it. So far, so good, but when Summer comes, we'll see how the air conditioner, TV, and the microwave do at the same time. This unit is miles better than our old, small Panasonic. It cooks food MUCH faster, and more evenly. With the commercial stainless steel outter case, larger green digital display, beautiful black door, substantial chromed metal door pull, and two-tone control plate, it's without a doubt the best looking appliance I own. It's probably a good idea to fully read the manual and keep it next to the microwave for a few weeks, as this unit is capable of doing several functions, such as cooking in two stages, defrosting in two stages, auto cook, and programming the 5 memories. All in all, for $70. this is one great microwave. If it lasts as long as our old red Panasonic did (6 years), I'll be happy."
