It is a very dense hard wood with a range of colors from brown to reddish brown. The species has a straight, occasionally wavy grain with an uneven texture. This wood has dramatic shading that will mellow as the floor matures.What is "Select Grade"?Select Grade flooring contains natural characteristics such as small knots and minor color variations produced by differences in natural heartwood and sapwood; It does however maintain a more uniform color. Select grade flooring also has longer average plank length compared to Natural grade flooring products.
